I am primarily working on an extended paper on religious impulses, American exceptionalism, and the idea of the Kingdom of God among Reform Jews and Unitarians at the end of the 19th century. This will almost certainly become part of the structure of my dissertation.

Finally, I am revising two articles, one on James Baldwin's vision of American sin and the other on the historical and theological implications of the use of Jonathan Edwards in the interpretation of the Toronto Blessing movement.
